New Energy Tour

On May 15th, we’ll be heading to the Eemshaven for our annual site visit!
This region is responsible for producing one-third of the Netherlands’ total energy. During the day, we’ll travel by bus to visit several key companies and power plants—including RWE and Groningen Seaports—to see firsthand how they are contributing to the energy transition.

New Energy Tour

The programme is as follow:

  • 08:45- 09:00: Gather and departure at Groningen Central Station
  • 09.00 – 9:45: Drive to Eemshaven
  • 09:45 – 13:00: Presentation and visit of the Magnum power plant at RWE + lunch
  • 13:00 – 14:30: TBA
  • 14:30 – 16:00: Presentation of Groningen Seaports + sightseeing with our bus
  • 16:45: Return at Groningen central station
